Scatter gram patterns of hematological malignancies in Sysmex XN series

چکیده
Background: Scatter grams-graphic depictions of the cell populations in a blood sample are produced by automated analyzers. These scatter grams can be employed to screen for various hematological conditions, including anemia, leukemia, and other disorders examining gram’s population distribution patterning. Aims Objectives: In this study, we wish study generated Sysmex XN-series analyzer confirmed cases malignancies. Materials Methods: 58 hematologic malignancies diagnosed based on peripheral smear findings bone marrow morphology data were extracted. We retrieved complete count gram patterns analyzed XN-1000 these along with findings. white differential nucleated correlating smears. Results: Among cases, 20 acute myeloid leukemia (6 promyelocytic leukemia), 32 chronic 5 lymphocytic leukemia. Unique seen different leukemias. Conclusion: Pattern analysis has potential improve efficiency accuracy diagnosis also help prioritize evaluation that require further testing, such as molecular cytogenetic evaluations, especially limited resources or high volumes conditions.

‘Leaky gut’ in hematological malignancies☆
In humans, the intestinal epithelium is a single layer of cells that constitutes one of the most important barriers between internal and external environments. The so-called ‘intestinal barrier’ (IB) is a dynamic structure composed of different types of cellular junctions that can be regulated by physiological and pathological stimuli, and act as a selective barrier to antigens and pathogens. P...
متن کاملCheckpoint inhibitors in hematological malignancies
Inhibitory molecules such as PD-1, CTLA-4, LAG-3, or TIM-3 play a role to keep a balance in immune function. However, many cancers exploit such molecules to escape immune surveillance. Accumulating data support that their functions are dysregulated in lymphoid neoplasms, including plasma cell myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and acute myeloid leukemia. In lymphoid neoplasms, aberrations in 9p...

In the reported case, the patient’s serum globulin level w...
متن کاملMicrosatellite instability in hematological malignancies
The genome of colorectal carcinomas displaying pronounced microsatellite instability codes for an extraordinarily high number of mutated proteins that elicit tumor-specific cellular immune responses. We have recently demonstrated that leukemic cells are also vulnerable to T cells specific for tumor-associated antigens produced in the context of microsatellite instability. This finding extends o...
